Connecting to Microsoft Outlook Web Mail
This document describes how to connect to the Microsoft Outlook Web Interface
Introduction
Connecting to the Microsoft Outlook Web Interface is easy, and allows you to check your e-mail, calenders and contacts when you are away from your work PC or your laptop. You can access the Web Interface from any browser, and you don't need to install any software on the machine you are using. It is very handy if you are in an internet cafe on the other side of the world, or even if you need to use someone else's PC.
Getting Started
-
To get started, point your browser to https://outlook.ipera.com.au.
-
Note: Because Outlook needs to connect to your browser over a secure connection, it is important that you include https:// in the address, otherwise you will not be able to connect to the service.
- Type in your normal domain\username, e.g. Sales\John, and enter your password.
- Congratulations! You should then be presented with the Outlook Web Interface, and from
here you will be able to see all your e-mails, contacts and calendar
information as well as access any public folders.
- Note: If you are on somebody else's computer or accessing Outlook from an internet cafe, it is very important that you log off Outlook before you leave. Otherwise, other people using the machine will be able access and read your e-mail without your authorisation!
