Logging in to the VMWare Web Console

A description of the process of logging in to the VMWare Web Console over Citrix

  • First, open https://vmware.ipera.com.au in a browser window (e.g. Internet Explorer). You should be presented with the screen below, prompting you for a username and password.

  • Enter your username and password as supplied by Ipera. You may be required to download the Citrix Presentation Server Client for your platform (e.g. Windows 32-bit or Linux). There are links to various clients on the login page, or you can navigate to Citrix Downloads at www.citrix.com/downloads if your platform is not listed.
  • You should now be presented with a small Internet Explorer style icon in place of the log-in box.
  • Ensure that you have pop-ups enabled in your browser before proceeding to the next step.
  • Click on the VMware Web Console Icon shown below.

  • You may receive a prompt regarding accepting and/or trusting a particular Site Certificate. Accept the certificate to proceed to the Vmware Web Console Log-in Window.

  • You should be presented with the window below. Enter your username and password, as supplied by Ipera.
Login to VIWA
    • Once you have entered your details, you should be presented with the VMware Infrastructure Web Access dashboard, shown below.

    • You can now double click on a system, in order to bring up the system monitoring console, shown below. From there you can power cycle the system, monitor resource usage and access the server console.
