Installing the Ipera Anti-Spam Outlook Plugin

Installation

Installation:

• Down load spamreport.zip from here

• Unzip file to local drive.

• Shutdown Outlook
  

• Run JunkEmailReportingTool.MSI following the installation instruction.
  

• Then Run filecopy.cmd.
  

• Start Outlook. 

Usage

• The Junk E-mail Reporting Tool allows you to report Spam E-mails directly to Ipera. If you receive junk e-mail and want to report it directly to  for analysis, firstly select the e-mail in Outlook and then click the junk e-mail button on your tool bar.   

• You will see a pop-up window asking whether you want to report the selected e-mail to Microsoft and its affiliates. When you click “Yes” to confirm that you’d like to report the selected e-mail as junk e-mail, the e-mail will be deleted from your Inbox and sent to Ipera for analysis to help us improve the effectiveness of our e-mail filtering technologies.

Note:
The first time the tool is run it will ask if you wish to send emails to Microsoft spam reporting services. Say yes and tick the box not to be asked again.
